Faith – Connecting Hong Kong and Osaka, Building a Second Home Together

We are a retired couple who have lived in Hong Kong for most of our lives. Every year, we travel to Japan – from the bustling streets of Tokyo to the timeless charm of Kyoto, and the vibrant energy of Osaka. Time and again, we have been touched by the warmth and delicacy of this country. Gradually, Japan became more than just a travel destination; it became a second home in our hearts.

After retirement, we decided to no longer be mere “visitors,” but to truly settle here. So we purchased a three-storey building in Osaka and transformed it into a women-only dormitory – four comfortable, safe rooms. We hope this little space offers more than just accommodation; we want it to be a warm and welcoming base for women coming to Japan to study or take part in a working holiday, allowing them to pursue their studies, work, and experience life here with peace of mind.

Alongside this, we are launching an online store and cultural exchange platform featuring authentic wellness products from both regions: Hong Kong’s signature stomach-soothing Pu’er black tea rooted in Cantonese traditions, alongside Osaka’s traditional Japanese health foods and artisan crafts. Our Hong Kong roots give us a unique advantage – we deeply understand what people from Hong Kong seek in genuine Japanese wellness, and we can authentically share Hong Kong’s subtle, everyday health wisdom with Japanese locals and international friends who value holistic living.

 “Faith” draws from the biblical virtues of “Faith, Hope, and Love.” It reflects our core belief: starting with sincere faith in this cross-cultural journey, carrying hope to connect people, and building everything with love.

Our mission is simple yet profound: to create genuine connections that turn visitors into family, making Hong Kong and Osaka each other’s “second home.” Through this small building and online platform, we aim to support women from diverse backgrounds, enrich the local community, and contribute to meaningful cultural exchange between the two cities.
